Description

The IoT Home Automation System is designed to control and monitor household electrical appliances through the internet. An ESP32 or NodeMCU acts as the main controller and connects to Wi-Fi. Electrical devices such as lights, fans, pumps, and other appliances are controlled through relay modules. The user can operate the connected devices through a mobile application or web dashboard from anywhere with internet access. Sensors can also be added to make the system automatic. For example, a PIR sensor can switch lights on when motion is detected, an LDR can control lights according to ambient brightness, and a temperature sensor can control a fan automatically. The system can also support manual wall switches so that appliances can be operated locally even when the internet is unavailable. Additional safety features such as gas leakage detection, smoke alerts, door monitoring, and buzzer alarms can also be integrated. The main purpose of this project is to improve comfort, automation, energy management, remote control, and home safety.
